) and Sama Nursing Home. She is a pioneer in plastic surgery in India. With

Dr. Vimla Rajan is among the first
surgeon to introduce liposuction in India in 1982. In
1987 she was one of the three surgeons who trained other
plastic surgeons at a live workshop in Baroda. She has
herself learnt the art of liposuction from the masters-
